Fort Liberty welcomes 1st baby

The Womack Army Medical Center made history with the birth of their first Fort Liberty baby.

The baby girl weighed a whopping 9 pounds and 5 ounces.

Fort Bragg’s historic redesignation to Fort Liberty took place Friday morning.

Baby Moore was born that same day at 12:16 p.m. 

Moore received a ‘Good Night Fort Liberty’ book as part of her welcome gift package.
