Forget about Waldo, where's Smithfield?

Smithfield ponders fuchsia overtones.

Smithfield is a painting pig. He was at the Fair last year, working in the breezeway area between the Jim Graham Building and the Expo Building. This year I saw him inside the Expo Building on Friday (probably keeping dry; he IS a smart pig) but today when I went into the Expo Building ... no Smithfield.

I found him again by accident. If you go into the Expo Building and proceed until you see livestock instead of sweet potatoes, and then turn left  and walk a little ways, you'll go out a side door. Smithfield is roughly opposite that door. He's got a little pen and some bleachers available if you want to watch him paint (get there early. There's not a lot of seating and Smithfield has many fans.) You can see Smithfield communing with his muse at 1, 3, and 5pm.
