Food Lion recalling in-store prepared ground beef from a Zebulon, NC store

Food Lion is recalling select in-store prepared ground beef from the store at 114 Wakelon Street in Zebulon, NC, due to the presence of foreign material.

The recall includes "all varieties of in-store prepared ground beef produced on July 6, 2023, with a Sell By Date of July 9, 2023," according to a Food Lion statement released on July 7.

The recall only applies to in-store prepared ground beef prepared at this location on July 6, 2023.

At this time, no injuries or illness have been reported regarding this recall.
