They decided to use their grandmothers for the role instead - but there’s another twist! Instead of tossing flower petals, these spunky grandmas used bubble guns at the Asheville-area wedding.
In a video captured by the wedding videographer, Hannah of H Creation Films, the grandmothers can be seen having the time of their lives walking down the aisle while waving their bubble guns proudly.
"Our grandmas had the best time blasting everyone with their bubbles and it was such a special part of our day," Shelbi May said.
The video is now viral on TikTok.
