Firefighter ejected from truck on way to house fire

Firefighters were on the scene of a house fire in Johnston County on Sunday afternoon.

The fire happened on Zachary Way, in Garner, just after 1 p.m.

Officials said a Cleveland Fire Department firefighter was ejected from a firetruck at Cornwallis and Josephine Roads, just two miles from the fire.

The firefighter's condition was unknown.
