Fayetteville woman charged for role in motorcyclist's death
A 24-year-old man died as the result of injuries suffered in a crash on Sept. 28 on Bragg Boulevard.
After a Fayetteville motorcyclist died Friday of injuries suffered in a collision last month, police charged the driver of the other vehicle, Shirley Yvonne Murphy, with death by motor vehicle.
According to police, Murphy, 73, of the 1000 block of Fontana Street, hit Brenden Scott Wilson, 24, of the 200 block of Hay Street, on the afternoon of Sept. 28 at the intersection of Bragg Boulevard and Ames Street.
