Fayetteville travel softball coach arrested, charged with sexual battery

Cumberland County detectives arrested and charged a travel softball coach with sexual battery.
Authorities took Bobby Mcelvine, 61, of Fayetteville, to the Cumberland County Detention Center. He received a $10,000 secured bond.
Mcelvine’s first court appearance is set for Sept. 5.
Mcelvine is known as Coach Mac and Coach Bobby Mac, the sheriff's office said.
