The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for 17-year-old Jadyn Dulcinea Owens.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for 17-year-old Jadyn Dulcinea Owens.

Owens is described as a Black female who stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 105 pounds. She has short, black hair and brown eyes and was last seen Wednesday night at her home on Pleasantburg Drive in east Fayetteville.

"It is very important she is located as soon as possible," a statement from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office read.

According to officials, search and rescue teams are in the area searching a nearby pond.

Anyone with information is asked to call Det. J. McLoed at the Cumberland County Sheriff Department at 910-677-5414.
