Fayetteville post office on list for closure

The post office in Fayetteville's Haymount section, at 106 Oakridge Ave., is among those targeted for closure. The United States Postal Service submitted the list of 677 locations to a Congressional subcommittee Monday.

Sources told The Washington Post that the committee was expected to cut the list by about two-thirds, meaning only about 200 locations would ultimately close.
