Fayetteville man jailed on $2 million bond for child rape charges

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Quintin Freeman, 32, of Fayetteville. 

A man was charged Monday with multiple counts of child rape.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Quintin Freeman, 32, of Fayetteville. Freeman was charged with:

  • Two counts of statutory rape of a child less than 15
  • Four counts of statutory sex offense with a child less than 15
  • Six counts of indecent liberties with a child
  • Two counts of crimes against nature

Freeman was already in custody at the Cumberland County Detention Center on unrelated charges.

For the new charges, Freeman was given a $2 million secured bond. He was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.
