Fayetteville man dies in moped crash

A 29-year-old Fayetteville man died early Tuesday after crashing a moped near 4619 Bragg Blvd.

Timothy Eugene Pursell, of the 600 block of Forest Road, was traveling south on Bragg Boulevard just after midnight when he drove off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole and a parked car, according to police.

He died at the scene. No other information was released.
