Fayetteville resident Jonathan Osborne is charged in connection to a fatal Michigan crash that killed his daughter and seriously injured his son and wife.

A Fayetteville man has been charged in a Michigan crash that killed his 4-year-old daughter and seriously injured his wife and 8-year-old son.

Jonathan Osborne was charged with moving violation causing death, two counts of moving violation causing serious injury and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

Livingston County deputies said Osborne was driving a 2006 Ford Expedition on U.S. 23 in Brighton, Mich., when he lost control and the car left the road, hitting several trees.

Osborne's daughter was ejected from the car and died at the scene.

His son and wife remain at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor recovering from their injuries.

Osborne's bond was set at $30,000.
