Fallen Southern Pines soldier honored with newborn photo shoot with fellow soldiers

The widow of Army Specialist Chris Harris, of Southern Pines, celebrated her husband with a special photo shoot with her newborn daughter and soldiers from her husband’s unit.

Harris was killed in August 2017 while serving in Afghanistan.

His unit gathered for the photoshoot with Pinehurst Photography to celebrate the birth of Christian Michelle Harris, who was born on March 17.

On Instagram, Britt Harris described the photo shoot as "Christian's great big family."
