1. Flying Bull Beer Company, Inc.

One of Durham’s newer breweries, Flying Bull Beer is causing a spectacular stir. From live music to bite-size plates, their tasting room is the place to be. Dogs are welcome, and community events are hosted on the regular. They were voted "Best Brewery in Durham" in Durham Magazine's - Best of Durham 2023.

2. Fullsteam Brewery

Nestled in the heart of Durham, Fullsteam Brewery stands as a pioneer in the local craft beer revolution. Local entrepreneurs Adam Charnack and Chris Frosaker took an opportunity and created a business that is well-known and loved — Hi-Wire Brewing. The Durham taproom includes a unique event space perfect for celebrations of all kinds. It is pet- friendly and offers lots of food and games.

5. The Glass Jug Beer Lab - RTP

Created around the community this local craft brewery, focuses on experimental beer, new processes and high standards of quality. Their RTP location is a retail craft beer store where their on-site brewery is located.

The taproom features 24 rotating taps with an emphasis on seasonal brews, one-off special releases, and new collaborations with local breweries, in addition to all of your favorite craft beers, specialty wine, and cider. The outdoor beer garden hosts many weekly events, such as live music, food trucks and trivia.

Their downtown location offers great views of Durham Central Park with a carefree vibe.
