Ex-basketball coach accused of child trafficking, sex crimes, Anson County deputies say

A Wadesboro man is facing human trafficking and child sex crime charges.

The Anson County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that 30-year-old Jamoszio Burch was arrested on Thursday, March 14. He was charged with one count of human trafficking a child and two counts of taking indecent liberties with children.

Burch was booked into the jail under a $250,000 secured bond.

The sheriff's office said it is working jointly with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and that the case is still being investigated. Additional charges are anticipated.
