Cordovas with Time Sawyer (Pour House Music Hall, 224 S. Blount St., Raleigh) - Enjoy triple-stacked harmonies, southern storytelling and cosmic country twang.
The 1975 (PNC Arena, 1400 Edwards Mill Road, Raleigh) - The English pop group performs in Raleigh.
Bulltown Comedy Series (Fullsteam Brewing, 726 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham) - Every third Tuesday, three comedians from Bulltown Comedy Series take over the Fullsteam stage! Come for the beer, stay for the laughs.
Wednesday
Franklin Street Comedy Festival (The Pit, 462 W. Franklin Street, Chapel Hill) - This festival is focused on bringing together the very best of North Carolina comedy with local, regional and national comedians. This year's headliner is 30 Rock's Judah Friedlander. The festival runs through Nov. 25.
The Doobie Brothers (DPAC, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - The Doobie Brothers will be in Durham for one night only.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra (PNC Arena, 1400 Edwards Mill Road, Raleigh) - You know it's the holiday season when the TSO is back in town.
Thursday
Kip Moore (Carolina Theatre of Durham, 309 W. Morgan St., Durham) - The country singer brings his "Room to Spare" acoustic tour to Durham.
Thirsty Thursday Dance Party (The Big Easy, 222 Fayetteville St., Raleigh) - DJ Smoore will be spinning old school classics, Top 40 hits and more.
PopUp Chorus (ArtsCenter, 300 E. Main St., Carrboro) - Come sing three classic 80' songs - Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart," Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun."

Chinese Lantern Festival (Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - Booth Amphitheatre hosts this amazing display of luminary art through Jan. 12.

Goodnights Presents Shari Diaz (Goodnights, 861 W Morgan St, Raleigh) - Shari Díaz is a Bronx, NY native who switched up her stomping grounds for Raleigh, NC in 2014, where she started standup comedy. See her perform Friday and Saturday.
