Monday

Brewery Bhavana Holiday Market (218 South Blount St., Raleigh) - Brewery Bhavana's inaugural Holiday Market will celebrate 23 beloved local businesses along with the release of the anticipated 2019 iteration of Larkspur: Bhavana's holiday biere de champagne! Shop from 3 to 8 p.m.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave., Cary) - The Cary Players present this hilarious yet heartwarming tale. Tickets start at $15.

Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer (A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater, 2 E. South St., Raleigh) - Come see Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, Bumble, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius and Rudolph. Shows run through Christmas Eve.

Pet Photos with Santa (Cary Towne Center, 1105 Walnut St., Cary) - Leashed pets are allowed inside the mall for photos with Santa on select dates from 6 to 9 p.m. Other dates include Dec. 16.

Tuesday

Dave Chappelle (Carolina Theatre of Durham, 309 W. Morgan St., Durham) - The comedian is bringing his stand-up show to Durham.

Kirk Franklin (DPAC, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - One of the biggest stars in contemporary gospel music will take the stage at DPAC.

NC Chinese Lantern Festival (Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - This lights show is open nightly, excluding Mondays, through Jan. 12.

Triangle Gay Men's Chorus (The Durham Hotel, 315 E. Chapel Hill St., Durham) - Get in the holiday spirit! The Triangle Gay Men's Chorus will sing holiday carols and upbeat, season-less classics on the heated roof at 7:30 p.m. There is no cover.

Wednesday

A Christmas Carol (Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, 2 E. South Street, Raleigh) - The comedy musical featuring Ira David Wood III and Ira David Wood IV has been performed annually since 1974 and has been named one of the "Top 20 Events in the Southeast." See it this week in Raleigh and next week at DPAC.

10th Annual Toys for Tots (Woody's City Market, 205 Wolfe St., Raleigh) - Bring a new, unwrapped toy and BE entered into a raffle to win some amazing prizes like tickets to a Carolina Hurricanes game, a Patagonia jacket, a fire pit and more. Beers and cocktails will be served for $7 or less.

Six Pack Standup Show (North Street Beer Station, 521 W. North St., Raleigh) - Six comedians will perform! Tickets are $5.

Thursday

Pete Lee (Raleigh Improv, 1224 Parkside Main St., Cary)- Pete Lee was the first stand up comedian to get a standing ovation on The Tonight Show.

Raleigh Little Theatre's Cinderella (301 Pogue St., Raleigh) - This musical comedy is a holiday sugarplum for the whole family. Shows runs through Dec. 22.

Rooftop Thursdays (Solas, 419 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh) - Come enjoy live music, the heated rooftop bar and the beautiful skyline of Glenwood South. There will be drink specials all night.

Gary Gulman (Goodnights, 861 W. Morgan St., Raleigh) - Over 25 years Gulman has established himself as an eminent performer and peerless writer. Gulman’s latest special, “The Great Depresh,” is set to air on HBO later this year.

Friday

The Santaland Diaries (Theatre in the Park, 107 Pullen Rd., Raleigh) - This one-man show relives an out-of-work, young actor's brief stint as an elf in Macy's department store during the holiday season. See it through Dec. 22.

Holiday Pops with the NC Symphony (Meymandi Concert Hall, 2 E. South St., Raleigh) - Enjoy your favorite holiday classics, hot chocolate, carolers, Santa and even some snow during these shows this weekend.

St. Nicholas European Holiday Market (NC State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh) - This market features items from Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic/Slovakia, Germany, Scandinavia, Ireland, England and the British Isles. Admission is free.
