There is plenty to do in the Triangle this week!

Monday

Stand-up on the Roof (The Durham Hotel, 315 E. Chapel Hill St., Durham) - Fifteen comics will each have five minutes at the mic. Come out for a night of laughs, drinks, and good vibes on the heated, enclosed roof.

nOg Monday Night Run Club (Raleigh Beer Garden, 614 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh) - Choose from 3, 4, 5, or 6 mile routes. After the run, stay and enjoy the $5 runner menu and trivia at 7:15 p.m.

Tuesday

Bellydancing and Beer (Fullsteam Brewery, 726 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham) - Enjoy live Middle Eastern music by the Lost Nomads with performances by local bellydance students and Undulation Nouveau. This event is free.

Rent (DAPC, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - This original rock musical forever changed the landscape of American theatre. See it on stage at DPAC through Sunday.

Veganuary 2020 (Irregardless, 901 W. Morgan St.,Raleigh) - Veganuary is a month-long opportunity and challenge for anyone interested in the vegan lifestyle. Irregardless will feature vegan specials from Jan. 28 and Feb. 2.

Wednesday

Top Secret Stand-up Comedy (Goodnights, 861 W. Morgan St., Raleigh) - Goodnights hand-picked some of their favorite stand-up comics from around the country to perform secret, one-off shows. The show starts at 8 p.m.

Bella Monica Wine Dinner (Bella Monica, 3121 Edwards Mill Road, Raleigh) - This dinner will feature Italian favorites paired with five different Zento wines. Tickets are $85.

Anamanaguchi (Cat's Cradle, 300 E. Main St., Carrboro) - Anamanaguchi, from New York City, combines digital electronic sounds with traditional instruments.

Thursday

Yappy Hour (Clouds Brewing, 126 N. West St., Raleigh) - Every Thursday from 5 p.m. to close, Clouds Brewing will serve a a specialty menu for pet owners and their dogs. Proceeds will go toward a different charity each month.

Pat McGann (Raleigh Improv, 1224 Parkside Main St., Cary) - A husband and father of three young children, Pat's appeal stems from his quick wit and relatable take on family life and marriage.

Carolina Ballet's Rhapsody in Blue (Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, 2 E. South St., Raleigh) - This is a tribute to American composers featuring a ballet set to one of the most recognizable and iconic pieces of music, George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Shows run through mid-February.

Yonder Mountain String Band - The band redefined bluegrass music, expanding the traditional acoustic genre beyond its previously established boundaries by steadily pushing the envelope into the realms of rock n’ roll and improvisation.

Friday

Live Band Karaoke: The Dream of the 90s (Fullsteam Brewery, 726 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham) - Choose from dozens of '90s classics--from Nirvana to Hanson, Spice Girls to No Doubt, and Tupac to Chumbawamba. Free admission, free to sing. Arrive early to get your name on the list.

Marshall Tucker Band (The Ritz, 2820 Industrial Drive, Raleigh) - Noted for incorporating blues, country and jazz into its eclectic sound, The Marshall Tucker Band helped establish the Southern rock genre in the early 1970s.​​​​​​​

Adult Swim (The Cozy Log Cabin, 1495 Manns Chapel Road, Pittsboro) - There will be stand-up comedy from four local artists and music from DJ Wayne Draper.
