Equip 2 Thrive: An early lesson in striking, hand-eye coordination

Bryan Garrido, a Raleigh dad of four and owner of Equip 2 Thrive, is helping us get our young kids ready to learn the fundamentals of racket sports such as badminton.

Today, in step three (find the other steps in the More on This section), he offers an easy and inexpensive activity to help young children with their striking and hand-eye coordination as they gear up to actually use a racket.

Watch the video to see how it's done. Come back next Wednesday for the final step! And, bring your little ones to our event at 9 a.m., Saturday, at North Hills' Midtown Farmers Market in Raleigh, for a free Equip 2 Thrive class!
