Roxboro man wins 'Idol' audition

Chuck Dixon of Roxboro is the Triangle Idol!

Dixon was selected from among more than 100 aspirants who performed for local judges Saturday at Raleigh's Crabtree Valley Mall. He wins a trip for two to New Orleans where he'll get to audition for producers of "American Idol."

Fox 50, home of the reality talent juggernaut, sponsored the local contest.
