Over the span of five months and five unique events, the festival caters to all tastes and dietary restrictions, and represents a wide range of foods and entertainment. Entry into the festivals are free, with food from the vendors available for purchase.

One event takes place every month in Durham Central Park to highlight each cuisine. The lineup typically includes two variety editions, showcasing all types of foods and cultures in one event, a vegan edition and a seafood edition.

What to expect

At each event, the lineup of cuisines strictly matches the theme, allowing festival goers to try new types of food or learn about new vendors in the area serving up their favorite dishes.

For the comfort of visitors, vendors and entertainers are positioned beneath the Pavilion so individuals can have coverage from the sun while they browse around. Festival goers are also encouraged to bring blankets and/or chairs to sit on the grassy area while enjoying the live performances lined up.

For families and more

The ongoing events also include a variety of activities set up for children, but they aren’t the only ones who get to enjoy some fun. Plenty of cards and other games are also available for people to play while they enjoy their meals. Durham Central Park also provides the perfect opportunity to bring along the kids and leashed pets to enjoy in the fun.

With outstanding vendors and a lineup of live music adding to the ambiance of the events, this annual series of events draws in over an estimated 1,000 visitors to the Raleigh area.
