Elon University School of Law announced that students can soon get their law degree from Elon's new campus in Charlotte.

The law school said it will be offering admission to applicants to its new part-time Juris Doctor program at Elon's new campus in the South End neighborhood of Charlotte.

The Elon Law Flex Program received clearance from the American Bar Association and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

"Designed to be completed over four years, the Elon Law Flex Program in Charlotte’s South End neighborhood will use the same philosophy that has earned Elon Law’s full-time, 2.5-year program in Greensboro national recognition for its approach to practical training," the university said on its website.

Students in the flex program will be able to take many of the same elective courses as those offered in Elon Law’s full-time Greensboro program, the school said.

The Elon Law Flex Program will enroll its first students in August.

"The School of Law expects to enroll an initial cohort of at least 35 students with classes set to begin in August," the university said on its website.
