Durham Social Security office evacuated

A Social Security office in Durham was evacuated briefly Wednesday after employees there discovered a suspicious document.

Employees and clients at the Tower Boulevard office were asked to leave the building just after noon while police and hazmat personnel investigated. They found nothing amiss, and allowed people back into the building, police said.
