Durham shooting leaves one dead

One person was killed Monday afternoon in a shooting near the intersection of Belvin Avenue and Allgood Street in Durham, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 1:50 p.m. and found the body of a man in the street, police said.

No details of the incident were immediately available.
