Durham shooting leaves one dead, one charged with murder

Durham police on Thursday arrested Nicarero Earl, 21, and charged him with first-degree murder in the shooting death Dec. 17 of another Durham man.

Saquan Facyson, 28, was found near the intersection of Holloway Street and North Briggs Avenue.

Police did not release a motive for the shooting, nor did they say what led them to connect Earl to the crime.

He was being held without bond in the Durham County Jail.
