Durham police investigators are trying to identify a man who robbed a BP convenience store, 2502 Chapel Hill Blvd., on March 19.

The man entered the store around 6:40 a.m. and brought a drink to the front counter. When the clerk opened the cash register, the man reached in and grabbed a handful of cash, according to police.

He fled in a white and gray minivan similar to a 1990s model Toyota Sienna.

The man was described as black, 35 to 40 years old with a dark complexion, a medium build and a shaved or bald head. He was wearing a dark motorcycle style jacket with tan stripes down the sleeves, a polo shirt and tan pants.
