Durham police report man in hospital after shooting

Durham police were on the scene of a shooting that sent a man to the hospital on Saturday.

Officials responded to the 500 block of Liberty Street Saturday night after 9:30 p.m. They found a man who had been shot at least once. He was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

The person's name and other information were not released as police continued to investigate. The area of Liberty Street and Peachtree Place was blocked off during the investigation.
