Durham police investigating shooting that sends woman to hospital

Durham police are investigating a shooting on Southerland Street on Sunday.

Police say a woman, who was not the target, was shot in the thigh. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was expected to survive.

There was no word on any possible suspects or what led to the shooting.
