19-year-old shot and killed at McDougald Terrace in Durham

A 19-year-old was shot and killed Wednesday night at McDougald Terrace in Durham.

At approximately 6:45 p.m., officers with the Durham Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1300 block of Wabash Street.

Jeremiah Issac Williams II, 19, was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

This is an active investigation and no further information can be released at this time.
