Durham police find shooting victim in parking lot

Durham police were investigating a shooting Monday night in a parking lot at 2816 Ross Road that left a man in critical condition.

Durham police were investigating a shooting Monday night in a parking lot at 2816 Ross Road that left a man in critical condition.

Officers responded to a shots fired call around 9:45 p.m. and found a man who had been shot in the stomach. Police did not release his name, age or any other identifying information.

Emergency crews took the man to Duke University Hospital for injuries that appeared to be life-threatening, authorities said.

Investigators said they do not have any motive or suspect(s).
