Durham murder suspect found dead in Miami
Joseph Demetrius Muller, 40, was wanted on a charge of first-degree murder in the June 13 death of Jessica Ellis. The 28-year-old was shot in her home on Newsom Street.
A man wanted in a June slaying was found dead last month in Miami, police said Monday.
Joseph Demetrius Muller, 40, was wanted on a charge of first-degree murder in the June 13 death of Jessica Ellis. The 28-year-old was shot in her home on Newsom Street.
Police said Muller committed suicide and was found dead on Sept. 14. He was using an alias, and Durham investigators and the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner's Office had to use fingerprints and photos to confirm his identity, police said.
