Durham man shot after attempted robbery

One man was shot in Durham after an attempted robbery at around 1 a.m.

The man was shot in the foot after another man approached him and tried to rob him on Palmer Street, according to officials.

The injured went to the hospital on his own to seek treatment for his wound.

There were close to a dozen evidence markers on the ground at Palmer Street, suggesting several shots were fired at the scene.
