Durham man injured in stabbing

An 18-year-old man was injured in a stabbing in Durham Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Police took a 19-year-old man into custody for questioning in connection with the stabbing, which took place around 2:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Holloway Street. Police said he knew the victim.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries, but police said he was expected to survive.

No other information was released.
