A Durham man was charged with the murder of a 34-year-old man who was found dead inside a car in Raleigh on Sunday morning.

Samojeh Lamont Miley, 19, was arrested and held in the Wake County jail, Raleigh police said Monday.

According to police, Keonte Lamar Gause, 34, was found dead inside a vehicle at 5:15 a.m. Sunday in the 3200 block of Wake Forest Road.

The Helping Hand Mission Marching Band said Gause was a drum major and "a strong role model to all that came into contact with him."

Police asked for the public's assistance in identifying two witnesses whose photos are below.

The Raleigh Police Department has launched a homicide investigation into the death of a 34-year-old man who was found dead inside a car early Sunday morning. Police are now looking to speak with these two witnesses.
