Durham police charged a 21-year-old man Thursday in connection with the shooting death of a 52-year-old property manager at Oakley Square Apartments.

Shatique Kamal Skinner is charged with murder in the death of Frederick Edgerton, who was shot Monday morning in the 1800 block of Cheek Road.

Investigators said the shooting was not a random act, but they have not released information about a possible motive.
