Durham man caught in online sex-crimes sting
Albert Godwin III has been charged with 50 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 50 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Authorities have charged a Durham man with distributing child pornography over the Internet.
Albert Godwin III, 36, has been charged with 50 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 50 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was being held Monday on a $2.5 million bond.
An undercover agent in the New Mexico Attorney General's Office received a tip that hundreds of pornographic images depicting children were being distributed through Durham. North Carolina authorities seized computers and other electronic equipment and located thousands of images in various files, authorities said.
