Durham crash brings down streetlights

A crash in Durham brought down a utility pole and several streetlights early Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred before 2:30 a.m. on Morreene Road near U.S. Highway 15 501. A car crashed into the pole, which brought streetlights down onto the street. Crews were at the scene installing a new pole to get the streetlights off the road.

Both lanes of Morreene Road were closed in the area.
