Durham County commissioners under investigation

The Durham County Board of Commissioners is investigating itself following the firing of the county's social services director.

Commissioner Joe Bowser called for the investigation into possible ethics violations to determine whether former director Gerri Robinson had a relationship with any board members before or after she was hired in 2009.

Bowser says he wants the investigation wrapped up quickly.
