Duke student-athletes to host storytimes this weekend

Duke student-athletes will team up with Durham County Library for the popular Duke Sports Storytime at four libraries this weekend.

Duke student-athletes will team up with Durham County Library for the popular Duke Sports Storytime at four libraries this weekend.

They all take place at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, at these four locations, according to a press release:

  • East Regional Library, 211 Lick Creek Ln., Durham, NC 27703
  • North Regional Library, 221 Milton Rd., Durham, NC 27712
  • South Regional Library, 4505 South Alston Ave., Durham, NC 27713
  • Southwest Regional Library, 3605 Shannon Rd., Durham, NC 27707

During the hour-long sports-themed storytimes, participants will hear a story read by a Duke student-athlete and take part in singing and other fun activities. There also will be giveaways and a question-and-answer session with the collegiate athletes.
