Duke Children's Hospital hosts first Thanksgiving Day parade

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade doesn't hold a candle to adorable kiddos who participated in the Duke Children's Hospital Thanksgiving parade on Tuesday.

Wagons were transformed into floats as children paraded through the halls of the hospital.

"We're still basking in the joy from yesterday's inaugural Thanksgiving Parade organized by our incredible Child Life Team," the hospital said on Facebook. "Thankful for the Thanksgiving spirit and all the smiles shared yesterday!"

Patients and families were treated to a performance by the Pitchforks, Duke University's oldest all-male a cappella group.
