Duke becomes 4th in-state school to offer Hoggard OL Michael Gibbs
East Carolina, NC State, and App State have already offered.
Hoggard junior offensive tackle Michael Gibbs has reported a verbal offer from Duke University. It is his seventh overall and fourth in-state opportunity.
Gibbs’ first offer came from Coastal Carolina University in August. He has since been offered by (in order) East Carolina, Old Dominion, NC State, Appalachian State, and Penn State.
The offensive tackle is listed at 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds.
For his performance this season, Gibbs was named to the HighSchoolOT All-State Football Team as a third teamer.
