Driver loses control, crashes into front yard in Raleigh

A woman lost control of her vehicle and crashed down an embankment into a group of trees in someone's front yard on Sunday morning in Raleigh.

Raleigh police said the woman was driving too fast when she lost control going around a curve. The woman drove over a lawn and crashed down the embankment and into the trees.

The crash happened on Dacian Road shortly before 6 a.m.

Police said the driver is okay.

The vehicle had to be towed away.
