Driver killed in Fayetteville wreck

A Fayetteville man died in a single-vehicle wreck Wednesday night, police said.

Police said Christopher Michael Moeschet, 32, was driving south on Hope Mills Road when his Pontiac Grand Am ran off the left side of the road, struck a guy-wire and overturned in the intersection with Wingate Road.

Moeschet died at the scene.

Police said they were continuing to investigate the wreck.
