Driver hurt in Cary school bus crash

The driver of a school bus was sent to a nearby hospital for evaluation Wednesday morning after the bus was involved in a collision, officials said.

The bus was carrying 15 students to Northwoods Elementary School at about 8:40 a.m. when it collided with a car at the intersection of Northwest Maynard Road and Chapel Hill Road, officials said.

No students were injured in the wreck, which remains under investigation.
