The Durham Performing Arts Center is among the top theaters in the nation, according to recently released rankings for sales and attendance.

VenuesNow, Billboard Magazine and Pollstar have released their 2022 year-end national rankings for sales and attendance for theaters across the country. In those results, DPAC ranked #2, #4 and #6.

DPAC wraps its 2022 events this week with four sold-out shows. The theater has hosted 226 performances and welcomed more than 500,000 guests this year.

Operated under the direction of Nederlander and Professional Facilities Management (PFM), DPAC has been ranked among the top-ten theaters in America every year since 2010.

“2022 saw guests returning to live events in near record numbers. A variety of incredible events in combination with DPAC’s world-class customer service made this one of our best years ever. I can’t thank the fans and performers enough, it’s their shared love of live entertainment that comes together and makes DPAC so special," DPAC general manager Bob Klaus said.
