A Raleigh bar was destroyed in a fire early Tuesday morning.
Raleigh Fire Department officials said a crew returning from another fire call spotted the blaze at House of Art at 306 E. Hargett St. around 3 a.m. Authorities said no one was hurt in the fire.

The bar shared the news on Instagram Tuesday morning.
"Early Tuesday morning ...we woke to heartbreaking news: House of Art, our beloved creative space in Raleigh, was on fire," the business said on Instagram. "Our hearts are shattered. House of Art isn’t just a venue — it’s a home for artists, musicians and creatives of all kinds.

A benefit concert for House of Art is planned Tuesday from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Pour House featuring Khalil, Troya, Tesh, Lexia, Monk, Jandr Jam, Talia, CJ, Millie, Niito and Yahliq. There will be DJ sets from KaiKai, Astronate, X and JMar.
House of Art owners posted a surveillance video on the business' Instagram account Tuesday afternoon. Owners said the video caught part of the incident, showing a person appearing to exit the building before flames could be seen.
A spokesperson for the fire department said the cause of the fire remains under investigation, telling WRAL that, "It could have been discarded smoking materials and an accident. We don't know that it was intentionally set. We will release a cause when we have it."
For Anthony Williams, House of Art has become more than just a job - it's a home. "This place is special," he said Tuesday walking through the charred remnants of the bar.
"It really is about the people," Williams said. "Our team really makes this place in the community."
For Jamari Cortez, House of Art is a place to enjoy music and meet with like-minded creatives.
"It allowed myself and others to have a greater sense of community. Especially, being like a home away from my home. I’m from New York and don’t have family or family ties to North Carolina," Cortez said.
