Dog missing in Goldsboro break-in

A Goldsboro woman is looking for her dog after it was stolen during a break-in at her home last month.

Mariko Lydecker told Goldsboro police that someone broke into her home on Oak Street overnight on March 23 and snatched her 8-month-old Yorkshire terrier and several pairs of shoes. The dog nabber also damaged her flat-screen television.

Police on Thursday said Miriam L. Glenn, 24, of 202 Bartlett Ave., turned herself in and was charged with second-degree burglary, larceny of a dog, larceny after breaking and entering and injury to personal property.

Glenn was released on a $20,000 unsecured bond.

Police said Thursday they have been unable to find the dog.
