Divine Children's Show, the region's longest running consignment sale featuring higher end boutique clothing for children, will hold a special holiday sale this week.

The holiday open house is 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, at 1208 Westerham Dr. in Wake Forest.

Divine Children's Shows offer both gently used clothing and overstocks from boutiques and clothing manufacturers. The event gives shoppers a sneak peak at some of the overstocks that have started arriving for the show's spring sale, which is scheduled for Feb. 3 to Feb. 5.

Items include Haley and the Hound tunics for $25, along with the line's new women's T-shirts for $10. There also will be a large selection of spring and summer girl dresses.

Mendy Legleiter, who owns the sale, will also be offering a selection of her Naptime Creation bows. Many of them will be 50 percent off.

Legleiter tells me there also will be a good number of gift items all for under $30.
