Deputies: Wake Co. man arrested, charged with statutory rape
According to the Wake County Sheriff's Office, deputies received a report regarding an alleged sexual assault on a juvenile.
Wake deputies arrested a man on Monday they say committed statutory rape against a child.
According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a report regarding an alleged sexual assault on a juvenile.
After a thorough investigation and consulting with the Wake County District Attorney’s Office, deputies arrested and charged Wilmer Cojoc-Moran, 19, with four counts of statutory rape of a child by an adult.
Cojoc-Moran is at the Wake County Detention Center under no bond.
