Deputies say missing Robeson County man has been found

The Robeson County Sheriff's Office said Saturday that Robert L. Rush was found and is safe.

UPDATE: The Robeson County Sheriff's Office said Saturday that Robert L. Rush was found and is safe.

The Robeson County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding a missing man.

Robert L. Rush, 73, of Maxton, was last seen in the 7000 block of Gaddy's Mill Road on Friday around 3 p.m. Rush is 6-foot-0 and 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair. Rush was last seen wearing black pants and a blue jacket with “LOF” on it.

Rush was driving a gray 2006 Toyota Tundra with North Carolina license plate number XXH-1751. The tailgate of the vehicle has a dent in it.

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Rush, who is believed to suffering from a cognitive impairment.
